I married my high school sweetheart and we’ve been married for over 30 years. He’s my biggest fan.  I think he’s pretty awesome, too.

We have 3 children and two daughters-in-love. We have one grandson and a granddaughter who are getting incredibly spoiled because that’s our job and we love it!

I love the feel of sand between my toes and buildings that have character.

Bright colors make me smile.

I LOVE food.  I have since I was a baby (you can ask my Mom). Whoever thought of putting sea salt and dark chocolate together should be given an award!

Music can make me cry.

We love dogs, especially labs.  At one point we had 3 labs, all adopted through a rescue.

We live near Fredericksburg, Va.  We are thoroughly enjoying exploring the history, parks, food, and eclectic vibe of the area. It also brings me full circle.   I’ve liked living a lot of different places, but Virginia is home.  History, good and bad, is alive all around us.  It makes for good discussions.

We are surrounded by strength and beauty every day, sometimes in the smallest things.  Even the mundane tasks of life can become a little less boring when we slow down a moment to look. Photography is a way for me to capture those moments.
