I love a camera’s ability to capture a moment in time, and I’ve studied photography for over twenty years. With each image, I work to tell an authentic story. I don’t use AI to edit my photos unless specified in the description.
As a graphic designer, I am proficient in the Adobe Suite.
I married my high school sweetheart and we’ve been married for over 30 years. He’s my biggest fan. I think he’s pretty awesome, too.
We have 3 children, two daughters-in-love, one grandson, and a granddaughter the latter of which are getting incredibly spoiled because that’s our job and we love it!
I love the feel of sand between my toes and buildings that have character.

I LOVE food. I have since I was a baby (you can ask my Mom). Whoever thought of putting sea salt and dark chocolate together should be given an award!
Music can make me cry.
We love dogs. At one point we had 3 labs, all adopted through a rescue. Our most recent adventure is an adopted Plott Hound from our local SPCA. He is beautiful, loyal, and full of silly, playful energy.
We live near Fredericksburg, Va. We thoroughly enjoy the small town, farm country, big city, full character vibe that exists in the area. It also brings me full circle. I’ve liked living a lot of different places, but Virginia is home.
We are surrounded by strength and beauty every day, sometimes in the smallest things. Even the mundane tasks of life can become a little less boring when we slow down a moment to look. Photography is a way for me to capture those moments.
