Reason 1 – C.’s birthday is in less than 2 weeks.  He will be home all this weekend.  The only time I can work on the quilt that he doesn’t know I’m working on for him for his birthday is when he’s NOT around to see that I’m working on it.  Yet I’m still trying to get it done before his birthday.  

I finished putting the borders on the top this morning (it was a half day today!) so I ONLY need to piece the back (I’m setting 4 additional blocks in the back one of which is the label), quilt it, bind it, and *poof* it’s done.  ALL while he’s at school. 

Simple.

Sometimes surprises make me want to bash my head into the wall.  

Not to mention that I’m DYING to show it to him!
